Vital Qualification

• The aspirants who are willing to apply against the vacant posts of the Editorial Assistant, must hold the Second class Degree in Arts/ Science and should have Proficiency in concerned language along with the 3 years experience required for working in collection, compilation and Working knowledge of book production.
• The ones applying for the Assistant Editor posts, must have the Arts or Science Degree and Proficiency + knowledge of MS Office and other along with the 5 years experience for compiling, editing, proof reading and typography etc., in an organization of repute.
• In order to apply against the Editor posts, candidate must have Master’s degree qualification and Knowledge of proof reading and typography with 7 years experience required for compiling, editing, writing and publication of books and journals, preferably school textbooks / supplementary readers.

Age Limit

The upper age decided by the selection committee of the organization for the NCERT Recruitment 2017, for the candidates who are willing to apply against the posts of the Editorial Assistant is 30 years, whereas for the aspirants applying for the Assistant Editor and Editor posts is 35 years and 40 years respectively.

Remuneration Details

The company will be going to pay an handsome amount of stipend of Rs.29,000/- per month to candidates who will be short listed for the posts of the Editorial Assistant, whereas Rs.45,000/- and Rs.55,000/- per month to the aspirants selected for the Assistant Editor and Editor posts.

Mode of Appointment

The selection panel of the organization will select the aspirants for the NCERT Recruitment 2017, on the basis of the performance made by the aspirants in the test/interview, for which the merit list will be declared. Note that no TA/DA will be reimbursed to candidates for attending the interview.
