Lucknow University Courses

At present the University is offering two types of courses, first one is UG (Under Graduate) Courses which includes the courses such as B.Com., B.A., LL.B., B.Sc., BCA, B.Voc., Diploma Courses and B.V.A. whereas the second one is PG (Post Graduate) Courses, which are further classified into various types of courses such as Advance Diploma, B.Lib.Sc, M.A, PG Diploma, M.Com, LL.M., M.Sc., MCA and MVA. Candidates can apply for any of these courses, but only in case if the candidates fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Qualification Required

In order to get the admission in the UG courses, which are mentioned above, candidate have passed the 10+2 or equivalent qualification from concern school or board whereas the aspirants willing to apply against the PG Courses, must have Graduation degree from a recognized board/ university as per the course applied.

Reservation

In the Lucknow University Admission 2017, the selection panel of the university has kept the 21% of the seats reserved for the Scheduled Caste candidates, 2% for the Scheduled Tribe students and 27% for the Other Backward Classes who belongs to the U.P region.

Application Fee

For the Post Graduate Courses, the aspirants belongs to the General, OBC & Other State SC/ ST Category, need to pay Rs. 800/- and the aspirants belongs to the SC/ ST  category, of  U.P. will have to pay Rs. 400/- as application fee.

For the Under Graduate Courses of the Lucknow University Admission 2017, the aspirants belongs to the General, OBC & Other State SC/ ST Category, need to pay Rs. 600/- and the candidates who belongs to the U.P Region and are SC/ ST Candidates will have to pay Rs. 300/-. Note that the candidate have to pay this application fee on time, else they will be charged Rs. 400/- as late fee.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for the above mentioned courses will be done on the basis of the performance made by the candidates in the Entrance Examination. The shortlisted candidates will then be called for the Interview Test.
