Qualification requirements

Aspirants, who want to take admission in Aligarh Muslim University in UG/PG courses, must check eligibility requirements which we have presented here. To take admission in UG courses contenders should have done the Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent examination in respective stream/ subject from recognized board. Aspirants interested for the PG courses, they must have done their bachelor degree in 10+2+3 education or its equivalent from well known university/ institute with good records

Age Criteria

After knowing the eligibility requirements, contenders need to ensure age limitations, described here. Candidates are informed that Age limit will not be applicable in the Faculty of Medicine/Unani Medicine and for foreign nationals/NRIs.

Mode of payment

• Online Payment: By Net Banking or Credit Card/Debit Card.

• Bank Challan: Fee can be submitted through ICICI or Canara Bank challan.

• Bank Demand Draft: DD should be drawn in the favor of “Finance Officer” payable at Aligarh.

How To Fill AMU Application Form

Interested applicants can fill AMU Application Form online mode as well as offline mode. Here we have displayed complete guidelines, so have a look here;

Through Online Mode

• First of all, contenders are required to fill online application form, through online mode by the visiting official website that is www.amu.ac.in.
• On the home page, candidates should press the “admission and exam” tab available on the top side of the page.
• As you reach on the new page, you should choose the “Admission” tab and hit on the suitable link.
• After that, read information carefully and fill the online application form with complete details in appropriate manner.
• After filling form, must upload scanned documents, self attested copies of certificates and a passport size photograph.
• For the final selection, you need to press the “Submit” button and must take a print out of it for future use.

Through Offline Mode

• Aspirants who want to apply via offline mode, they should visit to the official website that is www.amu.ac.in and must choose the “Admission and Exam” tab.
• Now, select suitable link which is given in the section of “Admissions” and download the format of application form.
• Then, fill the application form with mandatory details and need to attach documents, photograph and put thumb impression and signature on the application form.

• Self attested copy (both sides) of High School/Secondary School Certificate (SSC Examination) in support of date of birth.
• Self attested copy (both sides) of Mark sheets/Grade sheets of all other examinations passed/appeared (including parts therein) after passing High School till date.
• Self attested copy of documents in support of claim of Internal Status and/or special categories, if any.
• Self attested copy (both sides) of Mark sheets/Grade sheets of qualifying examination. In case the result of the qualifying examination has not been declared at the time of applying, candidate must submit self attested photocopies of mark sheets/grade sheets of examination passed in the preceding year.
• Documents in support of Professional Experience, if any
• No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed.
• Self attested copy (both sides) of qualifying GATE examination, if any (applicable only for applicants to M.Tech. courses).
• Any other relevant document

AMU Counselling 2017
