Required Qualification

The applying candidate must have passed (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects. Or must have possessed B.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Electronics Or B.E/ B.Tech. Degree from I.I.T. or from a college recognized by AICTE.

Age Limitations

The male candidates who are filling the Application Form have age limit between 02nd February 1992 and 02nd February 2000, whereas Female Candidates must have age limit between 02nd February 1990 and 02nd February 2000. Note that the SC/ ST (Male/ Female) Candidates will be given age relaxation between 02nd August 1987 and 02nd August 2000.

Admission Process

After filling the IMU CET Application Form, the aspirants who will qualify the Computer-based CET Jan 2017 Exam, will be able to get the admission in the DNS Leading to B.Sc.(Applied Nautical Science) programme  and will be send to the Maritime Training Institute (MTI) at Powai and Tuticorin for Training.

Exam Pattern

The CET syllabus for UG programmers will going to comprise subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge and Aptitude at Plus 2 level whereas the Common Entrance Test will consist of the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
